This week's particularly daydreamy Sunday morning vibes come courtesy of Arizona songwriter Courtney Marie Andrews, whose beautiful and intimate new album, Old Flowers, arrived last month via Fat Possum. CMA's mix is a romantic collection of songs that really tug at the heartstrings, making a perfectly suited soundtrack for pining the day away, thanks to classics new and old from Arthur Russell, Karen Dalton, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, John Hiatt, Aldous Harding (who seems to be a common thread across many of these Sunday mixes), Molly Sarlé, one of my favorite songs ever from Amanaz, and more. Listen below or on Spotify, and pick up Old Flowers on vinyl here. Courtney tells us about the inspiration behind her mix:

"I wanted to embody longing in a group of songs, so I threaded these numbers together. I interlaced modern with classic to enhance the conversations from the past. Each of these songs is capable of stirring emotions and provide a perfect sound-bed to daydream in."
