Lovely New Zealanders Yumi Zouma share the dreamy self-directed video for one of the many highlights from the band's breakthrough 2016 LP Yoncalla (one of our favorite records of last year). The group's Charlie Ryder tells us about the near-deadly perils of filming the apparently more-dangerous-than-it-looks video for "Text From Sweden", the first vid the band has done all on their own:

After shooting the 'Keep It Close To Me' clip, we wanted to do something different to showcase the darkness of our souls, but then we set off the fire alarms with the smoke machine when we couldn't figure out how to turn it off, which was problematic as half the band are pretty bad at breathing already. We hope you enjoy 3m52s of us choking to near death."

If you're lucky enough to find yourself in NZ next week, go see the group play their final Yoncalla dates:

April 12th Caroline, Wellington, NZ
April 13th REC, Auckland, NZ
