Sweden's Alice Boman debuts the devastating opening track from her forthcoming new LP Dream On, coming in early 2020 on PIAS. "Wish We Had More Time" is a transcendent, heartbreaking elegy that feels both intimate and expansive at once, thanks in part to Boman's cinematic influences (she cites Moonlight and Paris, TX as inspirations), and that fact that this was her first time working with Grammy-nominated producer Patrik Berger (Robyn, Charli XCX, Lana Del Rey, etc.), who said of Boman's music "I never thought something so soft could sound so intense." The two also found inspiration in time spent together watching videos of Pink Floyd live at Pompeii, and getting into what Boman calls "that wide and atmospheric sound world." The song's dream-like black & white visuals were directed & filmed by Boman's close friend Julia Ringdahl, who tells us a little about the video:

"The forest where the video is filmed is a bit nostalgic for Alice and me. We lived together for one and a half years next to this little grove, you can almost see the house in the video. And we’ve spent hours and hours in front of a campfire there. Talking, eating and drinking wine. The video is a play with time."

Dream On is out on January 17, 2020 on limited sun yellow vinyl. Pre-order here.
