We're psyched to premiere the stunningly beautiful and surreal visuals for the title track from French artist Maud Geffray's debut solo LP POLAAR, out next month on Paris label Pan European Recording. According to a press release, the record encompasses "shadows of shoegaze, the electrified Italo-disco of the label Italians Do It Better, the dripping intonations of Lana del Rey, snippets of Depeche Mode, the current torpor of vaporwave and fragments of Bel Canto, in which the 1990s and 2000s telescope into each other." This is another way of saying that it could not possibly be more up our alley, and if this track is any indication, it's going to be awesome. The dream-like and appropriately glacial video was shot in the town of Rovaniemi in Lapland, Finland + directed by Jamie Harley. POLAAR is out May 12th.
