We’ve teamed up with our friends at Spune to present Toro y Moi — whose stellar Anything in Return has been on blast all year around here — live at Trees in Deep Ellum on Friday, February 1. We’ve got 3 pairs of tickets to give away for what promises to be the funked-up dance party of the year (so far); just let us know your favorite Toro y Moi song in the comments, and I’ll pick the winners at random the week of the show. And if you’re not feeling lucky, you should go ahead and grab tix here while they last. In related news, listen to a Dilla-esque (in parts 2 through 4, anyway) new Toro y Moi track called “Lyin (Pt. 1-4),” which can be picked up at the show on the band’s new tour-only split 7″.
