I don’t really keep up with the order of who came first with all this stuff, but this sounds like a more boring and subdued/less catchy version of Twin Sister and Chairlift combined. Fight me at a show if you got beef.
Go listen to their other three albums. Perhaps that’ll shed some light on context and why everyone’s about to jizz in their pants over this album.
