kind of a frankenstein
Something tells me I should listen to this backwards.
Aight, who’s gonna tell them this is wack?
Was half expecting Phil Collins to chime in after the drums
Trash. Seriously.
the artwork is nice
fuck.it’s the same thing, actually.but different genre
More like BORE Iver and James BORING.
MIRITE GUYS?!
yo yeezy, quit bitchin.
what a load of crap.
I flipped it real quick. http://coolout.bandcamp.com/track/iver-blake-fall-creek-quick-chop
coolout’s chop is actually way more enjoyable.
Just awful.
actually i love this one
yeah. this is the worst. assault on my ears. gross.
i dont understand how this can be called awful by people who listen/like James Blake. Its his typical minimalist production. And Justin Vernon’s vocals are autotuned, yes, but still lovely. Now if you don’t like autotune, or James Blake….then, yeah, this song isn’t at all your thing.

Hillary, I like James Blake but this is just bad. Sometimes even your very favorite artists make duds.
I think this song is a mighty disappointment. First and foremost, writing the collaboration in the first place was an incredibly predictable move. Secondly, the song itself is just, well, dull.
Combined, Vernon/Blake do not double in talent, they merely hinder each others strengths. Really, this song is nothing in comparison to what can be found on either artist’s individual LPs.
So disappointing, and the sonics themselves are so predictable and uninventive too. AKA, minimalist Blake backing over which are layered Vernon’s auto-tune. So obvious – and obvious is not good.
What in the drunk T-Pain? Color me chopped and screwed.
Disappointing.
i like it. there, i said it.
it doesn’t blow my mind either like it does on paper. it has its place though. hard to like anything now with auto tune! vernon doesn’t need it.
both artists are over-hyped, and this song is a perfect example. trrrrrble
this is very disappointing being a big james blake fan
and i have everything he has put out
but we all make mistkes.everything he does isnt gonna always hit the mark.NEXT TIME JAMES
Strange that this song is getting the love it/hate it reaction. I am personally on the middle ground, it’s nothing special but I would look forward to seeing more of this duo in the future. Their musical styles are so similar and they are both magnificent artists.
I listen to this song about 20x a day and am entirely obsessed and consumed by it. Also, I love that people hate it.
Umm, I was a bit skeptical in the beginning but now I like it. It, in a mysterious way grows on you. Love it. I wish I understood what it exactly said?????
those who say this song is awful just say you dont like it because to me its genius
you guys are all peasants if you don’t like this
this is so perf
