Agreed. Trying too hard to be sexy is for people with nothing else going for them. If you have something good going for you and yet you try extremely hard to look attractive, you tend to either come off as awkward or narcissistic (e.g., half the people in American Psycho).

Poor shout, the lyrics are very good. They’re understated and very carefully chosen words. They tie into together superbly to create the image of relationship really well. Lines like ‘this is all i think of’ are so simple but capture a emotion in its entirety.

The song is pretty, but I agree that the video needs some help. It never seems like she’s actually singing when she’s on camera. Lends the whole thing a rather forced, unnecessary detachment when the song is quite soulful. I wonder if the director connected to the song.
