Absolutely. The first series of chord changes move with similar progressions, minors falling into majors. In particular the effortless way the verse melody moves over them sounds particularly like screens, including the design before the first chorus. That film, this song and the entire band’s output have a force comparable to gravity.
I just wanna’ know how can there music even suck? Like, what’s the criteria now a days for “bad” music even. I mean if there is one, you know that I know that you know none of them fall into to it. There actually few musicians that can do this nowadays. You see I like the Beatles, from the inside out but no one I knows like yellow submarine though, you get my drift. With animal collective music you can’t go in expecting something all the time, there music deals too much with different moods, enter it open minded because It’s seriously soul music. With out Avey’s album even being released I already considered it one of my favorite albums.
These songs are both awesome. Hoping the album comes out by xmas. I’m sure it’ll be an album of the year contender.
Has anyone else ordered this vinyl release? I ordered it a few months back, and haven’t gotten it yet? Just wondering if anyone else is getting a delay.
