We're excited to announce the return of one of the dreamiest bands we know, Woodstock, New York-via-London duo Tessa Murray + Greg Hughes, aka Still Corners. Today the group debuts the lovely visuals for the beautifully brooding and sweeping lead single from their forthcoming LP Slow Air, out August 17th on the band's own label Wrecking Light...
As we mentioned over the weekend, Still Corners' gorgeous new record Dead Blue is officially out today on the band's Wrecking Light Records. To mark the release, we're debuting the shadowy psychedelic visuals for the sublime album highlight "Down With Heaven and Hell", one of the record's most ethereal and wistfully dreamy tracks. Dead Blue, the excellent new LP from London synth-pop band and new Texas residents Still Corners, is out this Friday on the group's own label Wrecking Light Records. We've already heard the haunting lead single and opening track "Lost Boys", and now you can stream the record in its entirety via Hypem. Listen below + catch the band live in Dallas next month:
London dream-pop duo Still Corners unveil their twinkling new single: we've always felt these two would make the ideal house band for an '80s prom (hugest compliment, in my opinion) and the romantically swaying "Horses at Night" elicits the kind of bittersweet yearning that would make it a perfect, vaguely cinematic anthem for a final slow-dance. Edit: Probably not taken from the group's almost-finished third full-length, which is definitely due sometime in 2016. Visuals by Lucy Dyson:
