LA bedroom-pop star Charles follows up her entrancing debut LP by dropping a dreamy new track for free download: check the swooning, soft-focus stalker jam "Call the Cops on Me" below, and catch Charles live in LA later this month, as she opens for Neon Indian + Palmbomen II at the Fonda Theater on February 24th:
Sweden's Postiljonen share their glowing new single, taken from the group's forthcoming LP Reverie, out February 19, 2016. With the stellar recent singles they've unveiled from the new record, these guys are really staking their claim as the greatest remaining Swedish Balearic dream-pop group — RIP Air France and Korallreven — and the gorgeous, windswept "The Open Road" might be their most heartfelt and goosebump-inducing song yet (that "this could be easy / it's all in the past" bit literally gets me every time). Check the video, featuring footage the group shot on their recent tour of Asia, below, and grab the track now on iTunes:
London dream-pop duo Still Corners unveil their twinkling new single: we've always felt these two would make the ideal house band for an '80s prom (hugest compliment, in my opinion) and the romantically swaying "Horses at Night" elicits the kind of bittersweet yearning that would make it a perfect, vaguely cinematic anthem for a final slow-dance. Edit: Probably not taken from the group's almost-finished third full-length, which is definitely due sometime in 2016. Visuals by Lucy Dyson:
Here's the gorgeous/auspicious debut from Corinth, Greece duo Ocean Hope, who you may already be familiar with from their appearance on the dreamy new single from fellow Grecian duo Keep Shelly in Athens...
