Kairos is the adventurous new full-length from White Hinterland, due March 9 on Dead Oceans. Influenced by a move from the East Coast to Portland and her recent listening habits (among other things), the new record finds Casey Dienel eschewing the jazzier/folk steez of her earlier work in favor of spectral, slinky modern R & B and minimal pop -- think Arthur Russell, Glasser, Dirty Projectors
