Russian experimental musician Kate Shilonosova aka NV released one of the most pleasant surprises (and one of our favorite records) of last year, in the gloriously playful and adventurous Binasu. Today, she shares the aptly titled "DE 1988", a previously unreleased bonus track that appears on the Japanese version of the record. It's a gleaming, immersive throwback that distills elements of some of her biggest influences -- Laurie Anderson, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Tears For Fears -- into a sprawling and dreamily retro-futuristic synth-pop excursion:

The Japanese-only release of Binasu is out now on Plancha, and also features a track with Angel Deradoorian. Grab both bonus tracks here, and if you missed NV's charming "Kata" vid, check that here. You can also pre-order Binasu on vinyl here.
