premiere: Claud – Easy

Brooklyn's Claud (fka Toast) shares a glorious and highly emotional new bop, which we're premiering here today. The endlessly charming "Easy" has a kind of a wistful happy-sad vibe that we love a lot, and it would fit very nicely alongside the newest Men I Trust jam on all of your unrequited love/breakup playlists. The song's twinkling production and warmly grooving bassline soften the blow of Claud's heartbreaking recognition of where this is headed -- "baby it just feels like / you hold me but not too tight, and when you talk me up it don't sit nice / you can hurt me, it's easy" -- creating a vibe of bittersweet catharsis that makes it a little easier dance through the tears.
