Vice is giving away a free remix EP from the Raveonettes, and while that prospect may or may not sound that appealing to you, the dark and brooding Trentemøller remix of "Lust" is actually pretty good, and definitely worth the free download. Listen below, and get the whole EP here.

I ordered Vivian Girls' Wild Eyes 7" back in June from Brooklyn's Plays With Dolls records, solely for the b-side, "My Baby Wants Me Dead," which is only available on the limited single. Anyway, it recently occurred to me that I never received it, so I headed over to the girls' myspace page to find a note warning, "Do not buy one from Plays with Dolls. You will not receive it!" Son of a bitch. Of course, the thing has since sold out and is now out-of-print, and currently fetching over 40 bucks on ebay (when you can find one). Luckily, a friend sent me the mp3, which I'll assume is ripped directly from the now very difficult to obtain 7".
You can, however, comfortably order Vivian Girls' awesome new I Can't Stay 7" (featuring two new songs) from the much more reliable In the Red Records.
