Johnny Jewel just dropped his sprawling, excellent (and frankly somewhat overlooked) solo LP Windswept on vinyl earlier today, and the "cherry" red first vinyl pressing sold out in a matter of hours, so he's just released a second limited edition of 1000 records on "milk" white vinyl here. The album, which features Desire's Twin Peaks jam "Saturday", the propulsive, mind-bending "Strobe Lights", and Chromatics' intimate cover of "Blue Moon", radiates a breezy, cinematic, often jazzy vibe that transports you into an unknown but familiar world of melancholy motels and lounges. This one will likely be gone by the time you're reading this, so get on it.
