CFCF shares the first single from forthcoming LP Liquid Colours
Montreal’s Mike Silver aka CFCF shares the lead single from his forthcoming “spiritual sequel” to 2015’s The Colours of Life, the soothing, nostalgia-inducing “new age jungle odyssey” Liquid Colours. In a press release citing Roni Size, Ray of Light, and “‘corporatized’ pop jungle”, among other things, Silver says, “I tried to make the record feel like a covetable object. It’s super commercial,” adding, “If it were a place, it would be a mall designed by Marc Newson and Karim Rashid. It’s MUJI background music. You could buy a bucket hat to this album, but like, a fashion bucket hat.”
Liquid Colours is out March 1st.
