As tireless curators, purveyors, and lovers of fine modern pop music (that tends to fall on the dreamier side of the spectrum) over the past half-decade, our friends at Cascine have become one my personal most beloved and revered labels. So, we're very psyched and honored that they've asked us to help them celebrate turning 5 years old this year, with a special celebration on September 17 at Brooklyn's Wythe Hotel.

The evening will feature performances by Cascine artists Chad Valley, Lemonade, Yumi Zouma, Korallreven, and Cuushe, as well as DJ sets from Erika Spring (Au Revoir Simone), Jensen Sportag, and Maria Usbeck (Selebrities), and emcee Duncan Cooper (FADER, Wildarms). Presented by us, Spotify, and our friends at AdHoc. Purchase your tickets early to cop one of their awesome limited "Cascine 5YR Packs", which includes a brand new Yumi Zouma 12", a cassette mixtape featuring some of my personal Cascine highlights over the years and a couple of stellar unreleased jams, selected by yours truly, and more:

"Attendees have the choice of purchasing a general admission ticket, or a ticket that includes a limited 5YR Pack which features 1) a ticket to the event 2) a cassette mixtape curated by Gorilla vs. Bear's Chris Cantalini (ed: that's me) that includes standout tracks from the label's catalogue along with unreleased songs by Boat Club, Chad Valley and Jensen Sportag. 3) a new and yet-to-be announced Yumi Zouma 12", and 4) the Cascine 5YR tee as designed by Jack Hardwicke."

here. Congrats Jeff, Andi, Sandra, and Cascine
