first!
Hey Chris.. WOWSA! nice!!
Dope mix Chris–keep’em coming.
love the intro yuna song. great mix.
cue file: http://www.mediafire.com/?l1c6y3bueed21x1
Check out the “genre” tag on the mp3′s of this and other mixes. just noticed that they are awesome. You should start updating that field of the cue file as well. I would post the cue, but you are too damn fast. ;)
you mean the word “mixtape” as genre? what should i put instead cos i have no idea what genre would that be? (:
the thing is, i leave genre field blank when splitting the file (don’t use foobar) so i don’t even notice the problem in the mp3 tags.
It’s not a problem, just an observation. I guess I wasn’t very specific.
I don’t really ever use the genre tag either, so its like an Easter egg (also, this is why I am just now noticing this after a year of listening to these mixtapes). My point was that the original GvB monthly mix mp3 files have cool genre tags. For instance, this month, the genre tag contains “ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ”. But this is lost when you use the cue file which contains the generic genre tag “Mixtape”.
oh, i haven’t noticed those silly tags. nice touch, though. maybe i’ll use them in the future.
Do you have any idea how i can use the cue file to split the mp3 on a mac? I can’t seem to get it to work, thanks in advance
another great mix…lovely to see Empress Of on there, what a song!
@SR Try googling “cue splitter for mac os” or something like that. It can’t be that hard.
Loving the changes remix
