Here’s a brand new mix from Memory Tapes, which Dayve Hawk tells us is comprised entirely of “unreleased, original stuff: tracks from GRACE/CONFUSION, excerpts from “Black Reel” and some other b-sides and remix work.” A promising and moving 20+ minute preview of his new material that ranges from the hopeful melancholy pop of the dreamy opening + closing tracks to some much darker, more ambient jams. Listen below, and also check “Sheila,” the sprawling/twisting lead single from GRACE/CONFUSION, which drops December 4th on Carpark.

promising indeed. what a cool niggah
I’ll wait till I can skip the songs that go on for way to long.
I meant TOO long, obviously.
Shelia is totally sprawling and twisting and also way too long.
If fact, I think sprawling and twisting”" is sycophantic music blogger for waay too long.

You’re out of your element Matt.
