Here’s the latest from former TX resident Rangers, taken from his forthcoming EP (possible LP?), coming sometime in the next few months. Like a lot of his best jams — don’t sleep on the Suburban Tours LP that dropped on OESB earlier this year — “Zombies” elicits kind of a warped AM-radio funk meets melting/decayed ’80s health class filmstrip (as scored by The Doldrums-era Ariel Pink) vibe.
