Presenting the unexpected/awesome one-off pairing of Deerhunter + Best Coast, as their respective tours magically converge upon Dallas’ Granada Theater on November 5. We have five pairs of tickets to give away for this one courtesy of the venue, so just leave a comment/@reply if you’d like to go, and we’ll pick some winners as the show draws near. This was a very disappointing show. Best Coast is nothing more than glorified stoners (in the worst of ways).
Nobody was dancing, their sound was too clear, and Bethany Cosentino looked trashed.
Deerhunter was fine, but Best Coast ruined the experience.

I went, it was an excellent concert. I danced, despite all the lame people who didn’t. Best Coast sucked, but really, weren’t we all there for Deerhunter?
