In only its second year, Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest has established itself as my new favorite festival. In addition to the perfect weather, an ideal setting (Austin's Waterloo Park), a stellar lineup, and great sound, FFF was hands down the most intimate and laid back festival I've ever attended. Sets of the festival: White Denim (surprise) and Diplo/Blaqstarr. Other highlights included Celebration, Cadence Weapon, Final Fantasy and guests, Battles, Cat Power, New Pornographers...yeah it was pretty much all good. I even caught some bits and pieces of what sounded like some badass shit coming from the hardcore stage, from the likes of Murder City Devils, Against Me!, Neurosis, and a bunch of other dudes I don't know. In closing, you should probably come next year. Okay here are some pictures of people:
