Jane Penny of TOPS announces her debut solo EP Surfacing + shares first single “Messages”

As the singer/frontwoman/co-founder of Montreal's TOPS (my favorite band in the world for the past decade plus) Jane Penny’s music has meant the world to me since Grimes introduced me to her back in 2012. So I’m super thrilled (and a little bit overwhelmed) to announce that we’ll be releasing Jane’s beautiful and brilliant solo debut EP Surfacing on Luminelle this April. I can’t wait for yall to hear the whole thing, but for now, we present her first single “Messages” with a stunning video, directed by Otium and starring JP herself in a dual role.
