Yumi Zouma embarks on a massive world tour (New Zealand, Australia, Asia, and Europe) today, and to commemorate the occasion, we're debuting the group's charming new video for "Keep It Close To Me" -- the very first track we ever heard from their lovely debut LP Yoncalla -- shot by the Yumis themselves and edited by Jer Paulin. The band tells us about the self-directed vid:

We shot this the last weekend we were all together following two months of touring Yoncalla. It was filmed at a friend's studio in Brooklyn - mid July, no AC. It was only the four of us. We'd take turns setting up the camera and making sure things were in focus, and then yell 'GO!' We had the freedom to do whatever we wanted, along with the comfort of being super close as friends - we were really able to let loose and have fun. This video is also special in that it bookends "Keep It Close To Me" - recorded in our apartments, mixed on our laptops with a video shot by ourselves and edited by our buddy Jer Paulin.

Yoncalla is out now on Cascine. Check all of Yumi Zouma's world tour dates here.
