video premiere: Gia Margaret – Birthday

Chicago's Gia Margaret shares the video for one of the many beautiful highlights from one of our favorite albums of 2018, There's Always Glimmer, which will finally get a much-deserved official release outside of North America next month (with two previously unreleased tracks) via Dalliance Recordings. The "Birthday" video was created by everybody's baby and stars Katelyn Douglass as "blanket", Ali Webb as "old tech", Wade Howard as "teddy bear", and Gia Margaret as herself, and it's a curiously heartwarming and sweet visual expression of the song's devastating premise, as Gia is haunted by friendly ghosts of a lost love:
