You know how we always do a terrible job of describing exactly why White Denim is our favorite band in the world right now? Well, the Austinist agrees that the band is basically impossible to pigeonhole, which is part of why they're so badass. Still, our girl Paige manages to sort of nail exactly what we love about them, complete with references to the Kinks, the Yardbirds, this, and Captain Beefheart. Anyway, our favorite part of the article was this line:
