According to the new issue of Under The Radar (and now confirmed by his label, Domino), Panda Bear is once again working with Sonic Boom, this time on a "break-centric," 9th Wonder-influenced new album, tentatively titled Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper...

Panda Bear's expanded 4xLP TOMBOY box set is out this week on Paw Tracks. The limited (5000 copies) expanded set features all of the Sonic Boom-assisted album versions and Noah's original single mixes, as well as instrumentals/a capellas for the DJs, plus non-Tomboy jam "The Preakness" and a gorgeous 16-page art/lyrics booklet...

Panda Bear's Tomboy finally drops a week from Tuesday on Paw Tracks, and after all of the live bootlegs, 7" singles, and various non-LP tracks leading up to the album's release, the whole thing is now streaming over at NPR. Not sure how they were able to stave off a leak for this long, but if you haven't heard it yet, it was well worth the wait...

Listen to Actress' sprawling "Primitive Pattern" remix of Panda Bear's new single "Surfer's Hymn," out soon on Kompakt. The title says it all on this one, and the skittering, tribal dance floor re-work -- the label says it falls somewhere "between DJ KOZE and VILLALOBOS" -- certainly doesn't give anything away for those that haven't heard the original:
