We spent an inordinate amount of time listening to (and trying to make) mixes this year. Here's a collection of some of our favorites from the past 12 months, all of which were huge sources of discovery + inspiration for us. Literally everyone loved Nicolas Jaar's amazing, 2-hour Essential Mix for BBC that dropped back in May -- and rightfully so, as it's one of the most beautiful, adventurous mixes of 2012 -- and now the producer has generously uploaded the uninterrupted, BBC-free version to his label's soundcloud page...
