Tirzah - Gladly
Such a sweet, beautiful jam from London artist Tirzah's debut LP Devotion, out this summer on Domino. This one's an automatic addition to our songs of the year playlist, and this is the second album called Devotion in as many days that we're suddenly very psyched about...

We're psyched to debut this rather auspicious introduction from London duo audiobooks, aka visual artist/singer/model Evangeline Ling + producer/mixer David Wrench (Frank Ocean, Jamie xx, Goldfrapp, FKA Twigs, etc.). The new Heavenly signees have already caused a stir in their hometown with their first live shows; Drowned In Sound invoked the Slits and Aphex Twin in their review of audiobooks' fir

French producer and singer oklou blew us away with her massive recent single "Friendless" and its stunning accompanying video, and today she shares the second track from her new The Rite of May EP, out March 16th via NUXXE. "They Can't Hear Me" is a fathomless late-night ballad for the club, featuring additional production from Night Slugs head Bok Bok...

I'm not sure how the glacial and cavernous "Friendless" isn't everywhere by now, as it's the kind of fully transfixing jam you're instantly compelled to put on an endless loop until it feels like it has no beginning and no end.

Hypnotic set from about-to-blow-up Norwegian duo Henriette Motzfeldt + Catharina Stoltenberg, aka Smerz, live from the Tate Modern in London last month, featuring sick visuals by Natalia Stuyk:

Just in time for the start of spring, Jamison of Teen Daze shares the transportive, hazily glistening balearic vibes of the lead single and title track from the debut of his new project, Pacific Coliseum. As breezy and nostalgic as "Ocean City" is making us feel at the moment, I anticipate this one will soundtrack more than its share of beach days and PCH cruising as the days get longer/

Got an email recently from Superorganism that began, "Hey there i'm your average 17yr old japanese girl living in Maine. my 7 friends from london and i are in this really cool band..." So excuse our incredulousness when it turns out their sole track at this point is impossibly infectious, and they're doing fully-formed, irreverent Gorillaz-style pop that's significantly better than the n
