SYMMETRY / THEMES FOR AN IMAGINARY FILM
"Symmetry is not Pop. Stripped it to its most primitive & visceral core, this is music written for picture. Your life is the film & this is the soundtrack."
Here's the sprawling, atmospheric new 2-hour, 37-track imaginary film score from SYMMETRY, "the project that began as a conceptual tangent between Glass Candy, Chromatics, Mirage, & Desire's more abstract sides." This is allegedly not Johnny Jewel's rumored rejected (and subsequently scrapped) Drive score, although it certainly would've worked beautifully. Look for a triple-LP to drop in 2012, but for now you can listen to the whole thing here, including the gorgeous closing track "Streets of Fire," which features a vocal turn from Chromatics' Ruth Radelet:
