Melbourne's Sui Zhen shares another glimmering track from her stellar forthcoming LP Losing, Linda, out next month on Cascine. According to Sui Zhen, "Matsudo City Life" was inspired by "Annie Lennox in the Eurhythmics 'Love Is A Stranger' era, The Cranberries' 'Dreams' and 'Linger' era, and Japanese City Pop of the late 80s", and like the delightfully whimsical lead single "Perfect Place", this one was an immediate favorite: an elegant, dream-like, and distinctly modern distillation of some of our favorite things. Listen below, and pre-order the record on limited edition yellow vinyl here.
