Skylar Spence x GvsB takeover: George Clanton – Wonder Gently

I was a huge fan of ‘Heartbeats’, a record by Mirror Kisses that soundtracked my summer of 2015. George Clanton is the mastermind behind the project, which he’s recently retired in favor of releasing music under his “real name”. The music, thankfully, has not changed — still texturally reminiscent of Heaven 17 and Microdisney, and deep as hell. He’s putting out a new album called ‘100% Electronica’. I’ve heard it and it’s one of my favorites of the year. — Skylar Spence
