premiere: Postiljonen – Chasing Stars

Stockholm/Oslo trio Postiljonen take their soaring Scandinavian dream-pop to dizzying new heights on their fittingly titled new single, out today on Hybris. "Put your head back in the game / Get up, lose the chain / We got stars to claim", implores singer Mia Brox Bøe, her wistful plea brimming with hope as "Chasing Stars" blasts off into the rare air of the stratosphere reserved for M83's most towering jams. The group tells us about the dazzling track, which will appear on Postiljonen's long-awaited third LP, coming sometime in 2019:

'Chasing Stars' is about the longing for that someone who you used to be very close to. While the lyrics might come across very heartbreaking - there’s still a sense of underlying hope that someday somewhere you’ll be together again, chasing stars. It’s nostalgic as always. It’s the chasing that is the magic and essence, forget about the reaching. We actually started writing this song three years ago but it couldn’t come at a better time for us."
