Prolific UK producer (and Banks collaborator) Lil Silva shares the arresting lead single from his excellent forthcoming EP, out this spring via London label Good Years. The buzzing, glowing late-night club jam "Lines" starts off low-key enough, with Silva's own haunting disembodied vocal sample floating over the ethereal track in a way that recalls some of James Blake's earlier, most skeletal work. It's briefly joined by a skittering beat, then dialed back until around the 2:25 mark, when the whole thing just ascends to another level. Four Tet seems to be a big fan of this one, too. Lil Silva's JIMI EP is out May 6th.
