premiere: Erika Spring – Less

Brooklyn's Erika Spring (of Au Revoir Simone and Nice As Fuck fame) debuts a propulsive track from her new solo EP Scars, coming next month on Cascine. "This song is a play on words, asking the listener to adjust their fixed view of the universe," says Spring about the dynamically driving and warped (Spring's crystalline vocals notwithstanding) synth-pop jam "Less", adding, "It's also our love letter to the slightly out of tune Korg Polysix + (Spring's co-writer and musical partner) Homer Steinweiss' minimal, hypnotic drums."
