In a recent review, Pitchfork.com called Nite Jewel "a shuttle-mate of SALEM in the blog-hype space race" -- not at all like the Pitchfork-hype space race, which has since been deleted -- "to find an act that can merge tapes-out-of-the-trunk hip-hop recording methods with 4AD gossamer." Ha. Moving on, SALEM recently released a new 7" on Japanese label Big Love. The new single is limited to 300 copies, and it's already sold out in Japan, but here's the a-side:
