The debut 7" single from Memphis' the Magic Kids is due out any day now on Goner, but Rough Trade's got the exclusive on the extremely limited colored vinyl version (only 200 copies), which they call "without doubt rough trade shop's single of the year so far" and "future ebay gold." We posted up the instant classic, Langley School-meets-the Beach Boys a-side a while back; here's the equally sweet/shimmering b-side:
