LIZ dazzles on her new Cross Your Heart mixtape
LIZ teams up with fashion label NICOPANDA to drop a new mixtape + fashion editorial for the brand's F/W 2016 collection: Cross Your Heart is 33 minutes of glittery, irresistible feel-good pop, featuring diverse but uniformly dope production from Branchez, Henrik the Artist, and more, as well as a verse from Vic Mensa, and a remix of LIZ's fizzy SOPHIE collab from last year, "When I Rule the World". But the real draw is LIZ's playfully vibrant and (mostly) reverent pop sensibility, as she elicits undeniable shades of fellow single-monikered stars Madonna, Brandy, Britney, Ariana, Charli, et al. and warps those classic pop vibes with her own glossy future-pop + R&B bent.
