To celebrate 4/20 this year, SPF420 put together an insane lineup of talent, including Kero Kero Bonito, Ryan Hemsworth, Saint Pepsi, Abbi Press, Meishi Smile, Giraffage, D'eon, DJ Python, and many more, for their virtual 420 fest / birthday party that they streamed on syncup.world Monday starting at, you guessed it, 4:20. But the highlight for us was the long-awaited return of DOSS, who released one of our favorite EPs of the decade back in 2014, played our 4th annual GvsB fest later that year, and then -- aside from an incredible collab with SOPHIE on the OIL OF EVERY PEARL'S UN-INSIDES remix album -- essentially ghosted the world. Until the other night, when she dropped a set of what she says consists of "NEW/UNRELEASED MUSIC + EDITS + BANGERS / 100% EMOTiONAL DANCE MUSIC" on the SPF420 livestream, and it was absolutely blissful.
