Promising young L.A. singer and songwriter Jamie B caught our attention earlier this year with her wonderful debut single "Love Too Long", a dreamily woozy and subtly infectious bedroom pop gem that should instantly endear her to fans of artists like Men I Trust, Clairo, and Kate Bollinger. It's one of our most played indie pop tracks of the year, so we were psyched to find that she's shared her just-as-lovely new single, "Calling the Shots", this morning. Produced by Harrison Whitford (Phoebe Bridgers), this one's a bit more downcast and slow-burning than that relatively breezy introduction, but it glows with the same warm, languid melancholy that makes her work so affecting and bittersweet.
