Chicago’s Horsegirl share “Ballroom Dance Scene” video + announce their first physical release

Chicago high-schoolers Penelope Lowenstein, Nora Cheng + Gigi Reece aka Horsegirl quietly dropped an intriguing little 3-song EP at the tail-end of 2020, highlighted by the totally mesmerizing, Stereolab-meets-shoegaze stunner "Ballroom Dance Scene", an astonishingly great song for such a young group, and one that fills us with a palpable nostalgia for the early '90s. Today, Horsegirl share an official self-directed video (their first) for that one, and announce a proper 7" vinyl release, featuring "Ballroom Dance Scene" b/w the equally thrilling EP track "Sea Life Sandwich Boy", coming in April on Sonic Cathedral.
