Roommates is the latest project from the prolific Ben Cook (aka Young Governor of the Bitters/Fucked Up/Young Governor fame) and his roommate Mark Fosco of Marvelous Darlings. Their Wi cassingle is the first in a 4-part series that the band will release on a label from "north north ontario" called Scotch Tapes, in an extremely ltd. edition of 99, a few of which may still be available here (the label is on vacation until February though, so you'll have to wait 'til then). Roommates have been described as sounding like "Pavement on Zoloft," which seems about right:

Look for a flurry of Young Guv releases in 2010, as well as the Bitters' debut LP East General, out soon on Woodsist.
