NYC newcomer Amber Mark drops a heartfelt new track in memory of her late mother Mia on the anniversary of her passing. Mixed by Alex Epton and premiered by Zane Lowe yesterday, "Monsoon", is an achingly beautiful tribute, and the all-too-relatable sentiment and love that Amber conveys is both totally devastating and gloriously life-affirming. And if you're not welling up and calling your own mom by the time Mia Mark's comforting voice comes in, try listening again. Amber says of the song:

"Monsoon season in India was always a tough time for me because those were the months that I had to spend away from my mom. It felt only right to add in the rain sounds to give it that extra texture. This song is very dear to my heart and being that June 3rd is the anniversary of her passing I had make sure it came out today."
