Los Angeles singer + multi-instrumentalist Miles Shannon aka Cassowary drops his stellar debut single for Fat Possum, "She Funked Me", a jazzy, cosmic R&B gem that was inspired in part by "promiscuity and free love, along with the emotional effects that come along with such connections." Cassowary's silky, lovesick plea rides a balmy disco-funk groove, as the track radiates an extremely L.A. vibe that plays out in the song's visuals, which we're premiering here today. A quick fun fact: Cassowary played piano on his childhood friend Earl Sweatshirt's I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside, and the legendary "Earl" vid was shot partially at his house.
