Toro y Moi releases a proper version of his stellar + very vibey January 2019 dropbox/instagram tape drop Soul Trash, featuring what Chaz says are "the same songs but presented in a more hi-fi setting". Taken from Melbourne group Caroline No's limited No Language cassette, a lovely collection of dreamily languid, vaguely psychedelic, and loose, often improvised bedroom pop gems that reveal themselves more with each listen. Recorded with a handheld recorder, and out now "on a hot green cassette in a hot pink case, extra special put together to be beautiful." The group apparently has another new record called Swimmers, produced by Mick Turner of Dirty Three, out soon. Listen:

Sleep ∞ Over alpha femme Stefanie Franciotti has a new tape out on Bathetic Records under her free-form "psych-murk" side-project moniker Raga Chrome. The label says, "It's the kind of dark-ish purple and turquoise fog that hollows out your skull and leaves it full of fairy dust and debris," so we'll go with that...
