We've always thought Hana had just a twinkle of a Nicks-ian quality to her soulful, beyond-her-years voice, so it's pretty sweet to hear her take on one of Fleetwood Mac's classics. Listen to Hana's glittery, heartfelt rendition of "Gypsy" (which Stevie wrote almost 40 years ago!) below, and catch Hana live at Noise Pop in 2019.
Grand Rapids artist FADE shares the final installment of her debut Fall in Love EP, with the vibrantly glowing and empowering '80s-inspired visuals for "Whole". Shout out to Ladygunn for premiering the Josh Maczinski-directed video today, and for recognizing that FADE is a "shimmery, mysterious, synth-heavy disco goddess." Fall in Love is out now on Luminelle.
Montreal's Anemone shares another irresistible highlight from their forthcoming debut LP Beat My Distance, coming in early 2019. "Crystalline synth jammer" 'She's the One' was premiered today by Clash, and the group's Chloé Soldevila says the song is sort of a prequel to their swirling, kaleidoscopic French-pop gem "Bout De Toi", which makes sense because both jams are sunny, dancefloor-filling instant party starters...
Super psyched to share this stellar new video from Oslo's Ellie Linden and her band Das Body for their undeniable neon-pop jam "Graceland", starring Ellie and an absurdly jacked bodybuilder. Shout out to the Fader for the premiere, in which they astutely call the surreal, glowing, Lykke Hagen-directed visuals "a chic neo-noir dance party for one", also noting the strong Twin Peaks vibe. Watch below + pick up Das Body's debut EP here.
