Josh McIntyre of Canadian duo Prince Innocence drops a new mixtape as his solo side-project Healings: Bless is "a collection of original material recorded between Prince Innocence sessions" at various points in 2015, originally intended as a "hybrid of new age and club music":

I briefly mentioned the murky, lo-fi noise-pop of Toronto's Little Girls a couple weeks ago, and the group has since made us aware of a couple of impending releases that you should know about. There's a 7" coming soon on Captured Tracks (home of Blank Dogs and Dum Dum Girls), with a 12" called Thrills to follow on Mexican Summer (Ariel Pink, Marissa Nadler, etc)...

So far we've got Vivian Girls, U.S. Girls, "My Girls," and just Girls (not to mention Women), and now, riding the dirty wave of ultra lo-fi yet extremely melodic/endlessly hummable noise-pop that seems to be building right now comes Toronto's Little Girls and TX's own Fungi Girls...
