Our friends at 100% Electronica are reissuing Deep Fantasy, the 2012 record from Melbourne, Australia artist Surfing, releasing the cult favorite for the first time ever on vinyl. If pressed to categorize this thing, we'd file the record under vaguely psychedelic lite-funk/dream-pop, or the dreaded (not by us, but you know) "chillwave/hypnogogic pop" tag. But our current favorite track from the LP sort of splits the difference between woozy vaporwave and smooth yacht rock nostalgia, resulting in a twinkling, dream-like slow-jam. Listen to "End of the Night" below + grab the record on limited (400 copies) transparent vinyl on bandcamp. The record ships next week, but in the meantime, you can download it for free courtesy of the artist.
