premiere: Rafting – Loading Screen

Columbus, Ohio experimental electronic pop artist Dallin Stevenson aka Rafting shares his floating, softly shimmering new single, "Loading Screen". With Stevenson's tender, yearning vocals and wistful lyrics -- "We can never be too far away / you and me can arrive / in this life / on time" -- and those pillowy, soft-funk synths, "Loading Screen" occupies some dream-like liminal space between distant, twinkling chillwave transmission and tranquil ambient pop, vaguely recalling some of the dreamier vibes from Toro y Moi's most recent record.
